Love is at the foundation of why we do what we do every day. Family. Friends. Happiness. Joy. Passionate Pursuits in our personal and professional lives. Many of us feel a sense of connection with all of life, with Love as the glue. We hope for good, for ourselves, others, and the planet. We can also honor our Faith, by living life with gratitude, humility, and grace.

It starts with Self-Love
If we do not have the capacity to love ourselves, we can make it more challenging to love others and for others to love us. It can be easy to beat ourselves up for simple mistakes everyone makes, or become consumed by past trauma that labeled us as never good enough. By checking in with ourselves more often, and giving ourselves permission be human, we can treat our setbacks and missteps as opportunities for growth. We get to choose how we respond. By choosing to be more compassionate toward ourselves, we open the door to allowing more love into our lives.

Love for Others
As we become more comfortable with self-love, the ability to love others, no matter who they are, can feel more effortless . If we can truly love ourselves in spite of our perceived flaws, we can love others despite theirs. We don't have to like them, but we can develop compassion and understanding for the people in our life who make it a challenge to love them. We also make it easier on ourselves to interact with everyone we encounter when we come from a place of compassion and Love.

Love for Life
Love for life should be the result of developing more love for self and others. The more love we create and experience in our lives, the more we tend to start loving life, while understanding that life presents us with challenges in many forms. Not everyone is rooting for us, or even willing to lend a hand. Not every opportunity is a promising one. However, there are people who have our back and want to support us. There are opportunities out there that align with our desires and stimulate our potential. There is so much beauty and good in the world. It should be our job to appreciate, cultivate, and interact with it more often.

Faith
Faith is the powerful force within each of us that cannot be measured. Our faith is what fuels our personal and professional pursuits. It becomes our rock when faced with setbacks and obstacles. Faith is We can't touch it, or see it, but we have the opportunity to feel it and connect with it every day. With Faith, we bring a more upbeat attitude toward life, knowing there is a magical and mystical energy helping it unfold into existence.

Gratitude
Gratitude is how we express appreciation for life, and all of the people, places, and things that make it so. Along with the other sections of the Love & Faith category, gratitude becomes more effortless and routine with a great attitude. The more we are appreciating the many aspects of our life, the less time we have to complain about it. Gratitude helps us focus on the good, even while navigating life's unpleasant twists and turns. It also helps give us perspective and understanding when we need it most.

Grace
If we have the capacity to love ourselves, others, and life, with faith and gratitude as the foundation, we make it easier to live with Grace. Grace, like Faith, invites us to go with the flow of life, no matter the weather. This way, we can balance the ups and downs of our day with less resistance and more acceptance. Our scars become tattoos of resilience, as our trauma becomes a source of strength. We choose humility and compassion over negativity, allowing us to be more graceful through our words and actions.
